1. Agreement to Terms

By visiting or using PakTrainLive ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please stop using the Service immediately.

2. Independence from Pakistan Railways

PakTrainLive is an independent information service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Pakistan Railways, the Ministry of Railways, or any department of the Government of Pakistan. The name "Pakistan Railways" and associated trademarks are the property of their respective owners. We use publicly accessible train position data from Pakistan Railways' infrastructure to power this service.

3. Nature of the Information Provided

Train positions, delay figures, and schedule information on PakTrainLive are derived from Pakistan Railways' GPS tracking feed and are provided "as is". We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding:

  • The accuracy or completeness of any position or delay figure
  • The continuous availability of the service
  • Fitness for any specific purpose, including journey planning

For time-critical journeys, always verify departure and arrival information directly with Pakistan Railways (Helpline: 117) or at the station.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the service at a rate that disrupts normal operation without prior written permission
  • Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or exploit any part of the service's infrastructure
  • Use the service for any purpose that is unlawful under Pakistani law
  • Redistribute or resell live train data obtained from this service for commercial purposes without our written consent

5. Intellectual Property

The PakTrainLive website, including its design, source code, and original written content, is the intellectual property of PakTrainLive. Pakistan Railways operational data remains the property of Pakistan Railways. Map imagery is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PakTrainLive shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on information displayed on it — including but not limited to missed trains, delayed journeys, or decisions made based on inaccurate data.

7. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense to fund operating costs. Advertisements are clearly labelled and do not constitute endorsement of any product, service, or organisation.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pakistan.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
