How this calculator works
Every station in our directory carries the GPS coordinates used to plot it on the live map. This tool measures the great-circle distance between any two stations using those coordinates, then applies a curvature adjustment to approximate how much further the actual rail line runs compared to a straight line on the map. It's a quick way to gauge how far apart two stations really are before you check schedules or fares for a specific train.
